I have been tracking the movie “Inception” starring Leonardo DiCaprio ever since the trailer came out. I’ve literally watched the trailer over 30 times and think it’s one of the best cut trailers of any movie. The soundtrack by Hans Zimmer blows me away….

So I went on Tuesday to the Burbank Best Buy and I was skeptical about the “Inception” soundtrack, after all it was still $13, and then I watched the Hans Zimmer performance from the premiere of the film in Los Angeles and it blew me away…I even got chills listening to it. So I go tonight to the Best Buy by my house and turns out the Burbank store was the only one that carried it, everywhere else didn’t get it in and they’re backordered. Needless to say, I’ll be back listening to the track over and over again on the archived Ustream video.

However, I will be going to see the film in IMAX tomorrow night! I bought tickets yesterday and practically the entire theater was already sold out. I tried buying tickets for a 9pm showing and only the first 2 rows were left….insane! I’ve read nothing but great reviews for the movie and they say it’s going to be an Oscar contender…..finally something for Chris Nolan.

Anyways, I’ll be posting my thoughts on the film this weekend on here….let me know if you guys are going to be checking out the film. They’re predicting that it will rake in $50-60 million alone this weekend, which is pretty amazing for a film that’s not based off a book or already has a crazy following (i.e. Twilight or Harry Potter).

Today is the first day of March….woohooo….new beginnings….new month….new week.

I have been working on a poster for an indie music showcase in New York for the past week…once the final design is approved I will be posting it up here for you guys to see.

I’m also working on some new prints that will be available in limited editions shortly….stay tuned

P.S. So excited that I read that today Anberlin has started recording on a new album in the studio…can’t wait for that
